Laura Laing

Laura started her career at JPMorgan before moving to TD Securities, where she held a number of junior positions within Operations before moving on to manage a small team. Following successful growth of that team, she moved to leading Strategic Initiatives for Europe where she was instrumental in the roll out of a new multi million dollar Operations platform. In this role, Laura won the prestigious TDS Pinnacle award before going on to win The Vision in Action award, TD Bank’s highest honour given to the top 100 employees around the world out of 90,000+. After this, she then took a role to build out a Client Onboarding team in Europe, establishing a Client Support Framework before taking on her most recent role heading up the European team for FX, Metals & Derivatives Operations. Over the last 4 years, Laura has helped to build TDS’s D&I culture, leading the European LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Forever Proud. As part of her commitment to diversity and inclusion she has been a part of InterBank – a collection of networks from financial services firms who come together to share best practices – since early 2020 and is the current Co-Chair.
