Kanu Bhatkulikar

Kanu Bhatkulikar is currently the Regional Head of TD Securities Operations and Business Services for Europe and Asia Pacific. She is responsible for managing and overseeing capital markets trade operations, client onboarding and regulatory reporting for the EAP region, and ensuring related risks are managed. She is also the Global Head for trade and transaction reporting for TD securities, managing a global team that ensures TD continues to meet is regulatory reporting mandates servicing the several global regulatory regimes that TDS operates in. Kanu is a collaborative leader, bringing together global partners. She is known for building strong relationships in order to bring about change within business-as-usual processes and to keep up with evolving market/client requirements. Kanu believes in determination; innovative thinking and is an eternal optimist at work. She is very people oriented and derives her energy and motivation from building solid, reciprocal partnerships. Kanu has over 14 years experience in the financial industry, starting her career in Insurance in Montreal and then moving to TD Securities Finance in various roles covering P&L Reporting, expense management, strategic initiatives, planning and forecasting, valuations, enterprise-wide stress testing, change delivery, trade operations and regulatory reporting. Kanu holds a Bachelor of Commerce designation in Finance and Accounting from McGill University and is CFA Charter holder. Kanu speaks three languages – English, Hindi and French (Beginner)
