I am a business focused technology leader and board advisor, with a strong track record of delivering technology operations, continuous improvement, and strategically driven technical/ business change, in the UK and across the globe. I have over 25 years’ experience working in complex and challenging environments across a diverse range of sectors, including: Media, Publishing, Retail, Technology, Law, Professional Services, Retail, Not-for-profit & Public Sector. I began my career in technology as an IT Engineer, from there I moved on to lead large scale service and operations teams, I then took on a role to lead a multi-million pound portfolio of Technology focused delivery projects and programmes. Today I consult as an IT Director for a City of London based consultancy – leading the technology elements of several large scale and complex multi-year initiatives/programmes, for multiple top tiered clients/organisations. Within my current role, I am responsible for: -IT visioning (In line with business strategy), acting as a workplace consultancy interface during large multi-year strategic initiatives/programmes. -Responsible for driving the business strategy through technology enablement. -Overall responsibility for the coordination of the IT Strategy across all technology streams, client projects/initiatives. -Leading matrixed, internal and external teams: in-person and virtually. -Responsible for design, implementation, delivery & monitoring across technology. i.e. IT Passive Infrastructure, WAN/LAN, Comm Rooms, Audio Visual (AV), Telephony Solutions, Application, and Security.
