Lydia Nicola
Head of IT
at Amnesty International
Industry: Technology, Charity, Operations
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
With nearly 20 years experience in computing projects, having grown up around IT and doing testing and support on the side whilst still in school, Lydia’s focused her career on being the interface between technical experts and end users. From her first job as a software business analyst, through her work co-ordinating the IT operations of a consortium of 14 charities, before putting in place an entirely cloud based platform, systems and processes for a high-growth startup charity, to her current work running Amnesty International’s IT Operations, she’s tried to get IT and the business side of the organisation working together effectively – which is particularly important in the charitable sector.
