Celebrating the Mint, DevelopHer and DIverse CXO Partnership – The Ultimate Trio for Change in 2023

Research shows that it will take more than 200 years for the leadership of the UK’s largest firms to match the diversity of the working population. In addition, McKinsey has stated, ‘LGBTQ+ women are underrepresented at every stage of the management pipeline, considerably worse than LGBTQ+ men’s representation’. DiverseCXOs, DevelopHer & Mint have partners to accelerate this from 200 years, to today! 

Mint, the leading women, non-binary and gender non-conforming LGBTQ+ network with over 60,000+ members is proud to announce partnering with DevelopHer and DiverseCxO.

DevelopHer is one of the largest non-for-profit women-in-tech community that’s helped thousands of women over the last 7 years. Emily Atkinson states “We’ve run two events at Downing Street, been featured in the press (Guardian, Vogue, Metro etc)  for our work running technical and skills based training events over the years. DevelopHer plan to help another 10,000 by 2025 on top of this and is thrilled to be partnering with DiverseCXO and Mint to help make this happen.”  

Sarah, Founder of Diverse CXO which helps minoritized groups in the workplace including; women, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+, and minoritized ethnic groups into senior and C-suite positions through mentorship, skills based training and encouraging people to gift their time to help others. Sarah stated, 

“I’m super excited about the Mint partnership which will enable us to support members of the Mint LGBTQ+  community with mentoring, skills-based technology training and career opportunities, as well as partnering with DevelopHer to continue their amazing work to help build confidence, connections and career opportunities for their women in tech members and wider community. Together we are the ultimate trio for change!“. 

Diverse CXO, a community group that offers mentorship, skills-based technology training and career opportunities to minoritized groups and encourages those in the position able to do so, to gift their time to help others. The objective is to help individuals from various backgrounds achieve their career goals and aspirations as well as improving diversity, equity and inclusion at all levels of industry including the C-suite. 

As part of celebrating the partnership and launch of supporting our queer women & the broader LGBTQ+ community we are hosting an inaugural kick-off event “Queer Women and LGBTQ+ Role Models & Speed Mentoring” at the prestigious The Londoner, the world’s first super-boutique hotel, in the heart of the West End on 26th January 2023 at 6.30pm.  We will be bringing together over 150 queer women & wider LGBTQ+ Mint community with 20 VIP queer women and LGBTQ+ role models. Our theme this year is “How to slay beyond your lane!”
